The Bella Terra Morton Grove team took great care of my brother, Vance, during his rehabilitation stay. Daphne (social services director) was very friendly and easy to talk to. She genuinely cared about his well-being. My brother is non-verbal, and her constant updates helped me stay at ease about his care. The speech pathologist and physical therapist were also great in educating me more about his condition. He was very comfortable there. He looked great and was stronger when he was discharged. Mariam (life enrichment director) checked on him to ensure he had everything he needed, talked to him, and took him for walks, especially when we were not around. My father only speaks Assyrian, and having someone like her who genuinely cares about residents made us feel confident about his care and well-being. She also helped us reach our father when he didn’t answer his phone. Abbi (ADON), Shiella, Coleen, Maureen, Alan (nurses), and the rest of the staff took their job to the next level and truly made a difference.
